Ryan was born on September 8, 1985 to Glenn and Judy Harris of Henderson, TN. His constant and infectious smile caused everyone to love him.

Ryan had a passion and talent for athletics, four-wheelers and motorcycles. He excelled at everything he put his mind to. Yet, all of his interests were still anchored with a faith in God. Ryan's favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:33,34 which tells the way Ryan lived his life.

Ryan and I have spent many an hour in the backyard or at the ballfield hitting grounders and playing catch. If I only knew then what I know now, I would have realized how truly valuable and precious those time are.

For the last two years we have held a Ryan's 5K Memorial run to help support the annual Ryan Glenn Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year a $1000 scholarship is given in Ryan's name to a deserving senior. Recipeints in 2001 were Justin Emerson and Beth Barnes, 2002 it was Jeanie Stacks. 2003 is was Cheryl Thorne.
